As more modern diesel vehicles and machinery are fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, AdBlue has become an essential product for reducing harmful exhaust emissions and helping vehicles meet current emissions standards.

What is AdBlue?

AdBlue is a high-purity solution made from 32.5% automotive-grade urea and 67.5% deionised water. It is injected into the exhaust system of diesel engines equipped with SCR technology, where it helps convert harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions into harmless nitrogen and water vapour.

Although used alongside diesel engines, AdBlue is not a fuel additive and must never be added to the diesel fuel tank. It is stored in a separate tank on the vehicle or machine and is used automatically by the SCR system.
